"We have withdrawn these businesses from the sales process and intend to retain both Portland Forge and Casting Service, which are both good businesses, within our Industrial Products segment," said James L. Murdy, executive vice president, responsible for business development.

In 2000, Portland Forge and Casting Service had combined sales of approximately $75 million.
