Allegheny Energy Supply Announces Opening of New Jersey Office.


GREENSBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 10, 1999--

: AYE), announced today that it has opened a New Jersey office to sell electricity into the newly deregulated retail market in that state.

Located in Lawrenceville, N.J., outside of Trenton, the office provides easy access to developing markets in New Jersey, as well as Delaware, New York Delaware is a town in Sullivan County, New York, USA. The population was 2,719 at the 2000 census.

Skrgic noted that Allegheny Energy Supply will be selling to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in New Jersey.

New Jersey customers will receive information about selecting a new electric generation supplier in mid-September and may begin taking generation from an alternate supplier as early as mid-November.
