: AYE) Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer Alan J. Noia announced the election of two Vice Presidents during recent Boards of Directors meetings.

The Allegheny Energy, Inc. Board of Directors elected Peter J. Dailey, Vice President, Corporate Development, a Vice President of Allegheny Energy, Inc. In addition, the Board of Directors of Allegheny Energy Service Corporation elected Terence A. Burke, Deputy General Counsel (Corporate and Compliance), a Vice President of Allegheny Energy Service Corporation.

Dailey joined the Company as an attorney in 1991 and has held various leadership positions for Allegheny Energy and its affiliates, including serving as Assistant Vice President of the Company's energy supply unit; Director, Business Development; and Vice President, Business Development. Dailey also played an active role in Allegheny Energy's acquisitions of Global Energy Markets, Mountaineer Gas, and West Virginia Power The West Virginia Power are a minor league baseball team of the South Atlantic League and are the Single-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Charleston, West Virginia and are named for a short lived electric utility in the southeastern part of the state, now . Dailey is based at the Company's office in Monroeville, Pa.

A native of Erie, Pa., Dailey earned his juris doctor The degree awarded to an individual upon the successful completion of law school.

It was named for Alexander Hamilton. Originally a men's college, the school began admitting women in 1979.  in Clinton, N.Y., where he earned his A.B. degree.
