Allconnect Launched Free Home-Connection Service.

Allconnect, a company that assists consumers in selecting and ordering brand-name home utility and communication services with one simple click or phone call, launched its services. The company has combined its Web site and customer relations center with up to 50 personal advisors to help Americans make their move or change of existing services more easily and conveniently. By logging on to www.allconnect.com or calling the toll-free number 800/255-2666 (800/ALL-CONNECT), consumers enjoy one-stop shopping for all utility and communications services with brands they know and trust. Based on usage patterns, preferences and location, Allconnect connects the resident with the particular providers that service each property, as well as offering the best providers and plans for local telephone and long-distance service, Internet access and newspaper. Once the resident chooses suppliers, Allconnect initiates all services, acting as the single point-of-contact for all utility and communications set-up. The service is free for residents, including comprehensive plan offerings, side-by-side comparison shopping features for services not defined by properties and access to a personal advisor to help recommend plans based on resident needs. Residents are only responsible for paying fees normally assessed by service providers for new hookups, connections or required deposits.

Crescent Lighting's Eclipse Edge-Lit LED (Light Emitting Diode) exit sign offers thin silhouette and attractive contemporary look, and it significantly reduces energy consumption and eliminates sign maintenance for five years. Standard models are single-face clear and double-face clear (mirrored backing to simulate clear). They're available for recessed mounting with a choice of faceplates or surface mounting with a low-profile housing in black or optional white or brass finish. The exit stencil panel is made of high impact clear acrylic, with UL standard lettering available in red or green. For emergency operation, the units are equipped with a maintenance-free sealed nickel-cadmium battery with an estimated service life of 12 years. The battery charging system is complete with low-voltage disconnect, AC lockout, brownout protection, AC indicator LED and test switch. Eclipse 2001 Series LED red 120 volt AC exit signs consume only six watts of energy vs. 40 watts in a standard incandescent sign--with no labor-consuming lamp replacement for at least five years and a five-year limited warranty.

Custom Service Hardware Inc. now stocks a large selection of Crews[R] safety glasses for eye protection. All Crews safety glasses offer 99.9 percent UV protection and scratch-resistant lenses. They're available in both clear and gray lenses and can be used indoors or outdoors. Their frames are available in a wide range of colors. The Tomahawk model provides adjustable temples with a stylish wrap-around design. Storm offers ratchet action temples with a non-slip rubber head. The Blackjack model offers superior eye protection with an eye-catching goggle wrap-around. FrostBite2 provides what many consider to be the "coolest" look in eye protection. The Yukon model offers clear and economical eye shielding. Crews goggles fit over prescription frames, offer ample eye protection and work well with half-mask respirators. They contain elastic straps with vent holes. Additionally, they meet (Need to look up ANSI) ANSI Z87.1-1989 safety standards. Many also meet Canadian Standards Association (CSA Z94.3) requirements.

Addressing the need for ease of operation from the seated position and wheelchairs, Wausau Window and Wall Systems offers total accessibility with it's side-hinged inswing casement, project-in and dual action windows featuring a single handle, multi-point lock. Series 3250V Visuline and 3250MP side-hinged inswing casement, project-in windows and 3250DA dual action windows can be opened for ventilation manually and provide uniform sightlines at fixed light and vent combinations. Tested to the requirement of AAMA AW60, all models feature a 3 1/4 -inch frame depth with polyurethane thermal barrier and no vent joinery exposed to the exterior. Between-glass Venetian blinds also can be requested for all three window models. Series 3250V windows are available with an optional beveled exterior face. Additionally, Series 3250V and 3250DA allow for larger vents with structural "no-sag" glazing. Series 3250DA dual action windows also offer both hopper and side-hinged inswing operation and feature an internal seal with molded corners. Traditionally used in hospitals, Series 3250MP medium profile inswing casement windows provide easy cleaning, a dual weatherable compression seal, concealed aluminum butt hinges and can be glazed to withstand impact loads
