  • Allan Stewart (politician) - contemporary Conservative Party Scottish politician
 has launched a stinging attack after being caught using a phone at the wheel.

Allan - Widow Twankey in Aladdin at Edinburgh's King's Theatre - was fined pounds 60 and got three points on his licence.

But he was furious after web comments saying he should be off the road.

He said: "To the vicious, jealous losers, sitting in their pitiful little homes with their boring little jobs and sad little lives, I'd like to wish season's greetings."
