NewsNet Central, a producer and distributor of branded television programming, Wednesday announced that Allan Horlick has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, effective Jan. 5, 1999.

As previously announced on Oct. 22, 1998, NewsNet Central is acquiring the assets of the television broadcast division of Preview Travel Inc. (Nasdaq:PTVL).
