All-Cowell final could be on the cards if Ben finally gets the boot; TV SPECIALS X FACTOR.

Byline: By Phil Agius

"THIS isn't about singing any more," said The X Factor judge Simon Cowell Simon Cowell (born 7 October, 1959) is a British artist and repertoire ("A&R") executive for Sony BMG in the United Kingdom and a television producer, more commonly known as a judge on television programmes such as Pop Idol, The X Factor, American Idol  on last week's show.

And that's just as well for him because the value option on tonight's semi-final eviction The removal of a tenant from possession of premises in which he or she resides or has a property interest done by a landlord either by reentry upon the premises or through a court action.  has to be for the talented gravel-voiced Ben to depart, leaving an all-Cowell Ray v Leona final.

If it was about singing, as Cowell insists it should be, Ray, a jumped-up holiday camp performer, would be long gone, but his army of teenage fans give him the look of a bad odds-on favourite to go.

Ben has struggled in the polls before and you get the impression that although it has long been suggested the Cowell wants a Ben v Leona final, he realises he might be able to sell more CDs through the cheesy cheesy (che´ze) caseous.  Ray.

This week's song choices are pretty lame all round, and Ray has taken a gamble by going for Smile, a song Ben did well earlier in the series.

has an ace up his sleeve with You'll Never Walk Alone, though, and there is no denying his popularity, however misplaced it might seem.

Leona, the 3-10 outright favourite, is playing it safe with yet another Whitney Houston song - we get the message, love - in I Have Nothing but her Somewhere Over The Rainbow should be good, while Ben's hopes lie with I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and Everything I Do I Do It For You.

Recommendation

Ben to go 2pts 7-4 Paddy Power
