LEARN about Quakerism at a special open day on Teesside. Middlesbrough Quaker Meeting Quaker Meeting can refer to:
  • Monthly meeting, the basic organisational unit in the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)
  • Preparative meeting (or Preparatory meeting), a common basic local worship group in the Religious Society of Friends
 House is offering 30 places so members of the public can find out more about the movement and its ideologies. Quaker values such as pacifism pacifism, advocacy of opposition to war through individual or collective action against militarism. Although complete, enduring peace is the goal of all pacifism, the methods of achieving it differ. , social justice, community and open-mindedness can be explored by visitors, who are welcome regardless of their religious beliefs. It takes place on Saturday, October 17, from 10am to 4pm at the Meeting House on Cambridge Road, Linthorpe.
