Established in 2009, The British Wildlife Photography Awards were created to celebrate the talents of both amateur and professional photographers, while highlighting the great wealth and diversity of British natural history. The competition has captured the imagination of thousands of UK and international photographers who have created a stunning and innovative series of images which showcase British wildlife at its best. The exhibition of around 80 images includes all winning and commended entries launched at Hoopers Gallery in London in September. Nunnington Hall is the first venue outside the capital to be exhibiting the works which will be on show at weekends until December 13. A year-long nationwide tour of the exhibition is then scheduled to follow throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
