Used to describe a spiffy product whose affordability shames other comparable products, or (more often) used sarcastically to describe spiffy but very overpriced products. 2. who have to put up with their endless petty, dangerous, bigoted nonsense. I know not every Gers fan got up on their hind legs over Coronation Street, just as most people are disgusted at whoever vandalised Allan McGregor's cars and appalled at the attack on Neil Lennon. But then the majority of us don't support either Rangers or Celtic. We're just sick fed up with them. In fact, if you took a poll I believe you'd find that the majority of Scots would think Scotland a far better and healthier place without either team. I used to think they should be forcibly amalgamated a·mal·ga·mate v. a·mal·ga·mat·ed, a·mal·ga·mat·ing, a·mal·ga·mates v.tr. 1. To combine into a unified or integrated whole; unite.
