When Audrey Dickinson of Baginton WI won a national competition for a garden design she had no idea that it would come to life at Coventry Myton. The Warwickshire Federation of WIs has raised more than pounds 25,000 to pay for the garden and, if that wasn't enough, Audrey and her team spent one Saturday putting in the plants. Gill Young, chief executive of The Myton Hospices, said: "We are so delighted with the butterfly garden; not only does it provide a tranquil area for patients, visitors and indeed staff but as you enter the hospice your eyes are automatically drawn towards it, which immediately has a calming effect. "We are grateful to all local WI members who have contributed to this project but particularly to those who have been instrumental in ensuring this particular dream became a reality." n We have two events coming up this month, one for the men and one for the ladies For the Ladies is a extended play by Machine Gun Fellatio.
