In your editorial, "Barbarism bar·ba·rism n. 1. An act, trait, or custom characterized by ignorance or crudity. 2. a. The use of words, forms, or expressions considered incorrect or unacceptable. b. Squared," you state: "Suicide bombings Noun 1. suicide bombing - a terrorist bombing carried out by someone who does not hope to survive it bombing - the use of bombs for sabotage; a tactic frequently used by terrorists suicide bombing n → are utterly unjustifiable." I suggest you take this a step further and declare all bombings are unjustifiable. This would include our bombing Europe during World War II: cities and villages in Germany, and Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. It would include also cities and villages in Vietnam, to say nothing of what we recently did in Afghanistan. What these suicide bombers did September 11 to the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. pales in comparison to what we have done to other people during the past century. I do not like to say this, but it seems to be true. The United States budget for 2003 contains $400 billion for the military.
