Llangollen canal The Llangollen Canal is an artificial waterway in England and Wales.

What is today known as the Llangollen Canal was originally the centre section (almost the only part that was built) of the Ellesmere Canal, and later was part of the Shropshire Union Canal.
 is 41 miles long and takes at least three days to cruise one-way.

The Lion Quays at Moreton, near Chirk, incorporates a waterside bar and restaurant with seating for 300 people and a banqueting suite for up to 400.
