All Things Underground Come Together for a Paranoid Glimpse at Everything; Second Season of 'Disinfo Nation' Airs on 4 Later.

The Disinformation Company, producer of the leading counter-culture Web site Disinformation, follows up a successful first season of the 4 Later television show Disinfo Nation with 10 new thought-jolting episodes. The new season starts on January 11th (Thursday nights) and features more of savvy host Richard Metzger's insightful interviews with modern prophets of the underground.

Says Metzger "At our first meeting with 4Later's new Commissioning Editor, Darren Bender, Darren told us he thought we'd "held back" in the first season. Returning from the successful six-week run of Disinfo Nation's a year earlier - the show ended its run with an audience share nearly double Channel 4's average - the 10 new episodes feature interviews with underground media heroes and artists from the far fringes of the art scene, plus a jolting look at the mysteries of new technologies and cyberspace. Some of the second season's subjects: Kembra Pfahler, alternative fashion icon and lead singer in the shock-metal band The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, who drops in for a visit and chat on The Karen Black Religion, blatholisism, art and the disease of fashion; cyber theorist/professor/columnist Douglas Rushkoff, author of Ecstasy Club and Media Virus, who considers his role as a corporate guru smuggling in counter culture;; religious painters Frank Bruno and Norbert H. Kox, who discuss the upcoming apocalypse and alien invasion; underground author/publisher Adam Parfrey, publisher of cult classic Apocalypse Culture; and comic book genius Grant Morrison, creator of The Invisibles.

Shorter segments between the interviews spice up the program. They include web-site reviews and a look at the strangest videos circulating in America's underground, including a return visit to the first season's sensation: the drunkest rednecks in the South - Uncle Goddamn and the Elmore family.

Disinfo Nation was born out of the Disinformation Web site (www.disinfo.com), the Web's most popular counterculture and alternative news destination.
