For its first quarter, earnings per share of 57 cents beat the analysts' consensus by approximately 7.5% while sales of $423.9 million advanced 27% year-over-year. The company also raised its earnings guidance for 2006.

The Bank of New York Company, Inc. (NYSE:BK) remains one of the All Stars' favorite names in the industry.
