All Angels - and the little angels; MUSIC: Dream moment as primary school choir swops notes with classical girl group.

CHILDREN from a school choir in Warwickshire had the dream chance to sing with acclaimed girl group All Angels.

Hours before the classical singing quartet performed in front of 1,000 people in the ruins of Coventry Cathedral Coventry Cathedral, also known as St. Michael's Cathedral, is the seat of the Bishop of Coventry and the Diocese of Coventry, in Coventry, West Midlands, England.

The city has had three cathedrals. The first was St.
, the girls took time out to meet local youngsters.

Nine members of the choir from Wolvey Primary School met the group at the Macdonald Ansty Hall hotel in Ansty.

They listened to the four singers - Melanie Nakhla, 19, Charlotte Ritchie, 18, Laura Wright For the romance novelist, see .

Then the excited school children got to join in with the group.

All Angels praised the children from Year 5 and 6 and encouraged the young singers to keep up the good work.

Richard Moore, head teacher, said: "This was an opportunity that does not come along often.

"The school chose nine representatives from our choir of 30 children and they were very excited to meet the All Angels."

Rebecca Twizell, aged nine, said: "It's good that we've been asked to see them. I want to be a singer like them when I'm older."

Francesca Smith Francesca Marie Smith (as she is sometimes credited) is an American voice actress who is best known for providing the voice of Helga Pataki on Nickelodeon's Hey Arnold!. She has also provided the voice for "Ashley B. , aged 11, said: "I've seen them on TV and think they are really good. I like classical singing and would like to sing when I grow up."

Ned Kincaid, aged 10, said: "I like singing but I'd never heard of All Angels before."

After the surprise singing session, the children quizzed the songstresses about their singing careers.

Afterwards they joined the girls outside the hotel's grounds for another singing session before All Angels went to Coventry Cathedral to prepare for the big event as part of their 13-day UK tour.

Group member Laura said: "It's so good to see the children singing because it's important that they start young and keep it going."

For member Melanie, the performance was particularly significant as she has relatives in Warwick who attended the show.

At the hotel, All Angels cut the ribbon to open the Ardross and Bowood suites.

Steven Quick, hotel general manager, said: "We were delighted that they took time out to catch up with Wolvey Primary School Choir."
