In December 1996, All American went public as an 11 store chain. Since then, the number of Goldberg's stores has doubled to 25 in seven states. Within the next 90 days, Goldberg's will double again, making it one of the fastest growing bagel chains in the country.

Goldberg's has been in continuous operations since 1938, featuring a traditional old-world, boiled and baked bagel recipe. Goldberg's also occupies a unique retail niche in that it is the only national bagel chain that offers franchisees their choice of either a traditional deli or a fully kosher kosher [Heb.,=proper, i.e., fit for use], in Judaism, term used in rabbinic literature to mean what is ritually correct, but most widely applied to food that is in accordance with dietary laws based on Old Testament passages (primarily Lev. 11 and Deut. 14).  store.

"The fact that we are a public company ensures our financial strength and visibility, and our momentum has generated great interest and enthusiasm. Our new franchisees, conversion, and acquisitions are launching All American into the category of the major bagel franchisors in the U.S., and our rapidly growing list of new store openings reflect that momentum."
