Alive.com To Showcase Streaming Media Technology At MultiMediaCom.


SEATTLE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 1999 --

Alive.com, a Seattle-based streaming media See streaming audio, streaming video and digital media hub.  applications and services company, today announced that the Company will demonstrate its streaming media technology at MultiMediaCom, the preeminent forum on multimedia communications and collaboration, Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Copley Place is an enclosed shopping mall located in the Back Bay section of Boston, Massachusetts. It is part of a complex that includes office buildings, two hotels, and a parking garage. .

An Alive.com executive will speak at the event and the Company will be exhibiting at booth No. 229 as well as booth No. 239 in the Streaming Media Showcase.

D. Evans Roth, Alive.com's director of business development, will be on a panel, "Producing Streaming Media Content: Tools and Technologies," on Monday, Aug. 31 at 8:00 am. Roth has over 10 years of Internet and Enterprise Software experience, serving various roles at Netscape Communications, Oracle Corporation and IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company.
