Alion Awarded $3.9M Defense Task Development Contract; Technology solutions firm to provide advice and support to OSD.


MCLEAN, Va. -- Alion Science and Technology Alion Science and Technology (pronounced: ah-LYE-un) is an employee-owned technology solutions company delivering technical expertise and operational support to the Department of Defense, civilian government agencies and commercial customers.  was awarded a $3.9M contract with the Office of the Secretary of Defense The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) is part of the United States Department of Defense and includes the entire staff of the Secretary of Defense. It is the principal staff element of the Secretary of Defense in the exercise of policy development, planning, resource  and Joint Staff J7 for Defense Task Development in support of DoD Training Transformation.
