"The goal of this program is to give deploying soldiers a realistic view of the current situation in the field," said Dick Brooks Dick Brooks (April 14 1942 – February 1 2006) was an American NASCAR driver. "In just a few days, we translate actual battlefield information into video simulations for classroom and field training. The videos provide accurate re-creations of the enemy's most recent tactics as well as how our forces responded, which can benefit both soldiers and commanders. This program helps soldiers train with the latest information, which makes the training more relevant to current field conditions."

JTCOIC was established through a partnership with the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC TRADOC Training & Doctrine Command (US Army) ) and the Joint IED-Defeat Organization (JIEDDO JIEDDO Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (US DoD) ).
