Alina omega 3.

Frutarom USA Inc. has launched Alina, a source of omega 3 fatty acids that is said to outperform traditional omega 3 oils by providing improved flavor and shelf stability in heat-treated dairy, beverage and savory applications. Alina is a patented plant source of omega 3 fatty acids from salvia seed that is derived through a natural extraction process. Salvia oil contains more than 50% alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). The health benefits of ALA include a reduction in stroke risk, alleviating ADHD conditions in children, improving cognitive function and supporting eye health. Alina can provide a substantial percentage of omega 3 to serving sizes. Alina is odorless, neutral in flavor and allergen free, making it ideal for children's formulations.
