Alignis, Inc. and Vitamins.com Announce Affiliation.

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 2000

Alignis, Inc.'s health plan clients and members will now receive discounts on vitamins, minerals, herbals, natural cosmetics, books and health-related publications offered by Vitamins.com, as a result of a formal affiliation announced by the two companies.

The affiliation went into effect on January 1, 2000, with the 2.2 million members of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Shield A US not-for-profit health care insurer that is a reimbursement intermediary for physicians. Cf Blue Cross.  of New Jersey becoming the first Alignis clients to access the program.
