Alien Technology ALR-9800 Enterprise Reader Receives EPCglobal Certification Mark for Class 1 Gen2 Compliance.


ATLANTA -- Alien Technology Corporation today announced receipt of the EPCglobal Certification Mark for Class 1 Gen2 compliance for the ALR-9800 Enterprise Reader. As announced today by EPCglobal, the ALR-9800 successfully completed the EPC (1) (Entertainment PC) See HTPC.

(2) (Electronic Product Code) A standard code for RFID tags administered by EPCglobal Inc. (www.epcglobalinc.org).
 Hardware Certification Program tests for conformance with the EPCglobal Class 1 Gen2 protocol.
