as of Feb. 28, 1995 was $68.2 million, compared to $63.3 million at Feb. 28, 1994.

Griffin noted that the reduction in net income was due to an overall decrease in earnings from agricultural operations during the first half of fiscal 1995, compared to the same period a year ago.

Griffin stated that while the harvest of this year's citrus crop has approximated last year, a decrease in the pounds of solids derived from the crop has caused citrus earnings to be lower. Additionally, sugarcane earnings were reduced, due to fewer acres of sugarcane planted and harvested, and ranch earnings were less due to lower prices and more calves calves 1

Agricultural revenues are expected to improve, as the year progresses, due to higher prices for late season citrus and additional cattle sales.
