Alias today announced its 6th annual industry event, 3December, in 25 cities worldwide. 3December cities - Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and Bangkok - are among the first to begin celebrations, followed by Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles. Events will also take place in many other major North American cities. 3December is a free global celebration of the 3D computer graphics and industrial design industries, sponsored this year by HP(R), Intel(R), ATI(R), and IBM(R).

MasterClasses

MasterClasses(TM) will be offered(1) at the New York, Paris, London, and Tokyo venues. 3D enthusiasts will have the opportunity to learn time-saving techniques from talented CG stars, such as Erick Miller and Adrian Graham on topics like Hyper-Real Facial Rigging or Particle Instancing. Moreover, in London, Chris Landreth will present on the making of Ryan.

These classes are for intermediate to advanced users and will focus on specific skill sets so that students can walk away with expert knowledge they can put to use immediately.
