It is bordered on the north by Lake Huron, which flows into the St. , previously classified as a shutin gas well, has been deepened, logged, and plugged back to shut off the water zone, and it has tested flowing oil. Testing continues to determine the optimum equipment configuration and production rate. Algonquin holds a 68 percent working interest in the entire 120 acre Silurian reef.
