Alfigen, Inc. Continues National Expansion with Acquisition of East Coast Laboratory.

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 18, 2003

Alfigen, Inc., a privately held genetic and esoteric testing company, announced today that it has purchased the assets of Laboratory Diagnostics, a regional full service cytogenetics cytogenetics /cy·to·ge·net·ics/ (-je-net´iks) the branch of genetics devoted to cellular constituents concerned in heredity, i.e. chromosomes.  laboratory, located in Norwalk, Connecticut.
