Riyadh-based Alfanar Construction Company will build a 380/132/13.8 kV substation at Jizan Jizan or Jazan (Arabic: جيزان) is the capital of the Jizan Province in the far south-west of Saudi Arabia. The city is situated on the Red Sea coast and serves a large agricultural hinterland. It has a population of 100,694 (2004 census). Economic City at a contract value of SR254 million. The project was handed over to the company by Jizan Economic City Land Ltd. Alfanar is executing several key projects for various clients valued at more than SR5 billion in different parts of the kingdom for Saudi Electricity Company and other utility firms.
