Alfalight Enhances Output Power of 976nm Fiber-Coupled Diode Lasers by 33%; Alfalight's New Products to Be Showcased at CLEO 2005.

BALTIMORE Baltimore, city (1990 pop. 736,014), N central Md., surrounded by but politically independent of Baltimore co., on the Patapsco River estuary, an arm of Chesapeake Bay; inc. 1745.  -- Alfalight, Inc., an innovative manufacturer of highly efficient and reliable diode lasers See laser diode. , today announced that it has increased the output power of its cooled and uncooled 976nm fiber-coupled diode laser products. The improved output power of these lasers over previous generations is a result of design and manufacturing improvements in both diode and packaging efficiency.
