The Alfdex system offers the market high-efficiency removal of oil droplets and soot particles from the ventilation gas in diesel engine crankcases, so called blow-by or crankcase gases. Including the orders outlined above, some ten of the world's leading truck and engine brands have opted for the Alfdex system and others are testing the system. With approximately SEK 1 billion in currently acknowledged orders over the next 3-5 years, Alfdex AB is firmly established as the world's leading supplier of proprietary and innovative crankcase gas cleaning solutions. Global interest in the Alfdex crankcase gas cleaning system is pushed by tougher engine legislation which will take into account not only exhaust pipe discharges but also other discharges, for example crankcase gases. Korea and Japan have already introduced such legislation. The North American market saw similar demands when "EPA 07" went into effect in January 2007. In Europe, new regulations are expected as from 2008.
