Alfa Dental Selects Clinical Product Suite From Quality Systems for Renovated Practice.

Quality Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:QSII) Thursday announced that it has signed an agreement with its customer Alfa Dental for implementation of the company's Clinical Product Suite.

This implementation of the Clinical Product Suite makes computerized clinical charting, digital X-rays and intraoral imaging available to the practitioners at the point of care.

Features include voice-activated periodontal charting, graphical tooth charting, clinical progress notes, treatment planning and patient education, all integrated into a Windows(R)-based system that exchanges data with the QSI Dental System, the company's practice- management product.

Alfa Dental, based in Dallas, has used QSI's Dental System since 1992. The Clinical Product Suite will be implemented in conjunction with an upgrade to the latest version of QSI's Dental System, as well as a complete renovation of the practice.

Some of the additions resulting from this renovation will include additional X-ray heads, computer workstations in the operatories, and patient education areas for consultations.
