Eight surface diamond drills are currently active. Alexis Minerals were pleased to report at their recent Annual General Meeting that 60,686 meters (Table 1) of drilling was completed during (calendar) 2004. Alexis has recommenced drilling in 2005 with 8 drills currently active on the following programs: 5 drills are active on Alexis-Noranda Joint Venture programs: - 1 drill in the final phase of follow-up follow-up, n the process of monitoring the progress of a patient after a period of active treatment. follow-up subsequent. follow-up plan drilling on the Montbray base metal discovery area - 1 drill testing MegaTEM II base metal targets in the Noralex area, and - 3 drills testing Gocad targets in the central Rouyn-Noranda camp 3 drills are active on Alexis' Val d'Or programs: - 2 drills progressing on two deep (Gocad) targets on the Louvex property immediately west of the Louvicourt Mine and in Joint Venture with Novicourt Inc.,and - 1 drill on programs testing base metal and gold targets on the Auriac, Bloc bloc n. 1.
