Alexia Kondylis creates model residence for Grand Beekman.


Award-winning designer. Alexia alexia /alex·ia/ (ah-lek´se-ah) a form of receptive aphasia in which ability to understand written language is lost as a result of a cerebral lesion.  Kondylis, daughter of celebrated: residential architect Costas Kondylis Costas Kondylis and Partners, LLP, is an architectural firm headquartered in Manhattan. Their influence on New York City’s skyline has been commented on by New York Living Magazine , has created a model tower residence for Grand Beekman, the first new condominium residence in the exclusive Beekman Place enclave in more than 25 years, announced Louise Sunshine, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. The up-and-coming designer, who serves as creative director for Kondylis Interiors, blended an elegant palette of subtle tones and soft textures with architectural features to showcase the striking river and city views of the 28th floor Grand Beekman residence. To create a unified space, the rooms are painted in related tones evoking smooth cashmeres and soft suedes. Limestone and camel colors create a warm but architectural background for elegantly upholstered, custom designed furniture and a unique collection of antiques and furnishings.
