The Company (CDNX:AWS.) is pleased to announce that Dr. Gail Mlokoti has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Dr. Mlokoti is a prominent South African businesswoman who received her PhD in Mass Communications from Howard University, Washington, DC in 1989. While at Howard she taught Communications at the school of undergraduates and also worked for IBM Government Relations.

After returning to South Africa in 1990 she became the first black manager at Eskom, a South African power utility, responsible for Internal Communications and received the Eskom Intercultural Award for Innovation in Communication. In 1993 Dr. Mlokoti was appointed the first black and female General Manager for the Development Bank of South Africa.

Currently, Dr. Mlokoti is a strategic consultant advisor to Lenaka Entertainment, an entertainment company, which she initiated and formed with a group of black South African business entrepreneurs. Dr. Mlokoti is the owner of Focinetworks, which owns a value added network services licence (VANS) awarded by the South African Regulatory Authority (SATRA) in 1999.

She also holds a seat on the board of The South African Music Investment Trust (SAMNET) and is the Chairperson of Meropa Investment. Dr. Mlokoti's previous appointments include a board member of the African National Congress Arts and Culture South Africa, 1992-1994, an appointment to the board of the Salvation Army, 1991-1994 and a seat with the Southern Life Insurance advisory board, 1991-1993.

Previous professional memberships include the International Communications Association (ICA), USA the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communications, USA; and the Communications Association, South Africa.

As a public speaker, Dr. Mlokoti has delivered numerous keynote speeches, to corporations, conferences both local and international as well as universities and colleges. While attending a conference at the University of the North, as the keynote speaker, Dr. Mlokoti shared the stage with the former President of South Africa, Mr. Nelson Mandela.

The Company welcomes Dr. Mlokoti to the Board and believes her business acumen and relationships in Africa will contribute to the development and success of the Company.
