Alexa Points Internet Explorer 5 Users Directly To Related Information

Through integration into Internet Explorer 5, Alexa Internet points users directly to Web sites that have similar or related content to the page being viewed. Also, if users receive a dead link while browsing, they can access an archived copy of that page from Alexa's database of billions of stored Web pages, many of which are no longer available anywhere else on the Web.

Alexa's Related Links and Archive of the Web can be invoked as a menu item in the "Tools" menu of the browser, or from a text link on a server error message page (i.e. as the result of the server's inability to deliver a page due to overload). By choosing "Show Related Links," users have the option to view other sites that are related to the current Web page, or to view an archived version of the current Web page, if available.
