AFTER her fashion faux pas in that Victorian dress the other day, Alexa Chung clawed back her cred in this red wool number.

And all thanks to Trinny and Susannah, who spent the day with her on her MTV show, telling her what not to wear. But Ms Chung thinks she caused a stink at the launch of Charlotte Ronson's clothing range at New York's JC Penney.

"An autumn/ winter wool dress in NYC in August is a schoolboy error," she said. "It's like an incubator - or stinkubator - in here. Ackkk." She said it.
