Alert over stolen tools haul.

Redditch police are urging anyone offered tools for sale in suspicious circumstances to get in touch.

This follows the theft of pounds 2,000 worth of tools from a white Ford Transit The Ford Transit is a range of panel vans, minibuses and pickup trucks, produced by the Ford Motor Company in Europe.

The Transit has been the best-selling light commercial vehicle in Europe for 40 years, and in some countries the term "Transit" has passed into common usage

PC Paul Downes said: "We are appealing to anyone who has been offered tools of this description for sale over the last week or so to get in touch.

"We also want to make other van owners aware so they can be extra vigilant themselves regarding the security of their vehicles."
