Alert issued for missing girl in Okla.

Authorities were looking Friday for a 10-year-old girl who may have been abducted in the Oklahoma Panhandle.

Marissa Graham was reported missing in Texhoma in Texas County Thursday night.

Police said witnesses saw the girl at 6:30 p.m. with a white man in his mid-30s to about 40 years old. The man may be driving a white car, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier.

The girl is white with reddish-blond hair and blue eyes. She's about 4-feet tall and 60 pounds.

Police issued an Amber Alert, prompting television and radio broadcasts of details of the girl's disappearance. Notification of the Amber Alert was also posted on electronic reader boards along main highways.

These alerts, named for Amber Hagerman, a 9-year-old girl that was killed in Texas in 1996, are supposed to be limited to cases in which authorities confirm a child has been abducted and faces serious danger.
