What: CNET (Nasdaq: CNET), the trusted resource for people
        interested in enhancing their life with personal technology,
        is now accepting submissions for its Next Big Thing Award to
        be announced at the International Consumer Electronics Show
        (CES) 2005 in Las Vegas. Recognizing the most promising new
        products to be featured at CES 2005, CNET (www.cnet.com)
        editors will select the top products within twelve categories,
        in addition to a Best of Show and People's Choice Award.

   When: Entries are currently being accepted, and will be reviewed
         until finalists are announced on Thursday, January 6, 2005.

         Winners will be announced on Friday, January 7, 2005 at CES
         Las Vegas.

            CNET editors will review each submission based on the
            following criteria:

       --  Product must be on exhibit at the 2005 International CES
           in Las Vegas.

       --  Product must be "new" to the extent that it will
           officially be announced(1) or begin shipping(2) after
           Dec. 1, 2004. Prototypes, reference designs, or those that
           represent a proof of concept will not be considered.

    Companies have a choice of submitting their product(s) under the
    following award categories: TVs; digital cameras & camcorders;
    home theater; portable audio/video; cell phones and handhelds;
    computers; peripherals; burners and storage; software and
    services; car tech; networking; accessories; Best of Show; and
    People's Choice.
