Alenia Aeronautica has delivered the first of five C-27J tactical transport aircraft to the Bulgarian Air Force.

Alenia Aeronautica has delivered the first of live C-27J tactical transport aircraft to the Bulgarian Air Force. The C-27Js are slated to replace Bulgaria's current fleet of Antonov AN-26s. The Bulgarian aircraft come equipped with an active defensive aids suite and an inert-gas fuel tank explosion protection system.
