John William Aldridge (born Liverpool, 18 September 1958). Aldridge is a former Republic of Ireland international striker.

The former Reds striker is guest speaker at a Sportsman's Lunch that is being held to raise funds for the Hillsborough Memorial Garden in Port Sunlight Port Sunlight is a village on the Wirral (in the North West of England). It was purpose built by Lord Leverhulme/William Hesketh Lever starting in 1888 for the employees of Lever Brothers soap factory (now part of Unilever). , which was vandalised.
