Alcon Revises First Quarter 2005 Financial Release and Conference Call Dates.

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Alcon, Inc. (NYSE:ACL), the world's leading eye care company, will report on its first quarter financial results for the period ended March 31, 2005, after the market closes on Thursday, April 21, 2005. The company had previously planned to release results on April 25, 2005. The company is releasing financial results at an earlier date to avoid potential conflicts with religious observances and ensure a broader dissemination of financial data.
