Alcon Entertainment Bets on ``Little Eddie Post''.

LOS ANGELES--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--March 14, 2000

Alcon Entertainment has acquired the rights to produce the live-action/CG animated family comedy "Little Eddie Post," it was announced today by the company's co-presidents, Andrew A. Kosove and Broderick Johnson.

The screenplay was written by former Boston Red Sox The Boston Red Sox are a professional baseball team based in Boston, Massachusetts. The Red Sox are a member and currently champions of the Eastern Division of Major League Baseball’s American League. The story revolves around an orphaned race horse, Little Eddie Post, and a spirited young girl named Channing whose dream is to become a professional jockey. The family comedy reflects the challenges they face as the outcast and the underdog, respectively. Together, with the help of their animal and human friends, they are able to overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.
