I wonder if there is a rebound effect rebound effect The worsening of Sx when a drug–eg, a decongestant, is discontinued, attributed to tissue dependence on the agent that could make the blood of new abstainers even more likely to clot than that of regular nondrinkers. In other words Adv. 1. in other words - otherwise stated; "in other words, we are broke" put differently , if one abruptly a·brupt adj. 1. Unexpectedly sudden: an abrupt change in the weather. 2. Surprisingly curt; brusque: an abrupt answer made in anger. 3. stops drinking, is that a temporary added risk? TOM PASKAL
