SMAL has the option to increase its alumina take as CNNC's needs grow. SMAL will make an advance lump-sum payment of $240 million to AWAC related to the 400,000 metric ton agreement and per-ton payments as shipments are made. Other terms were not released. Commenting on the transaction, Robert F.
