Alcoa Wheels Contribute to Environmentally Friendly Coca-Cola Distribution Trucks in Belgium.


CLEVELAND -- Renault Trucks Renault Trucks is a French truck manufacturer with its corporate headquarters at Saint-Priest near Lyon.

Since 2001 it has been owned by Volvo Group.

From its beginnings in 1978 to 2002, the company was called Renault Véhicules Industriels
 and Coca-Cola Enterprises Coca-Cola Enterprises NYSE: CCE is the largest bottler by volume in the Coca-Cola System. It is the anchor bottler for North America and parts of Europe.

Renault Trucks is making a test vehicle with a hybrid propulsion system available to Coca-Cola Enterprises Belgium - a move which will speed up development of the Renault Premium Distribution Hybrys Tech by having it used under actual operating conditions.

To make the vehicle even more environmentally friendly, it is equipped with Alcoa forged aluminum wheels with the easy to clean Dura-Bright[R] surface treatment. Alcoa wheels are not only lighter than steel, but also stronger and are 100% recyclable. Their reduced weight results in fewer emissions.
