Alcoa Reaches New Labor Agreements with Unions at Two Facilities.

:AA) today announced that unionized workers at two of its facilities - the Tifton Aluminum facility in Tifton, GA and the Hawesville, KY automotive casting center -- have ratified new multi-year labor agreements. Steelworkers at both plants have agreed to share costs for health care, joining the company's Select Benefits plan.

) Local 7834 in Tifton has ratified a new three-year labor agreement and USWA Local 9443 in Hawesville has ratified a new three-year labor pact. Both agreements include beginning the use of the company's Select Benefits health and welfare programs. More than 20,000 other Alcoa employees are also on this health and welfare benefits program.
