:AA) announced today that it has released its 2006 China Sustainability Report, which provides detailed insight into the actions, achievements and challenges of Alcoa in China, and illustrates Alcoa's commitment and dedication to China's sustainable development Sustainable development is a socio-ecological process characterized by the fulfilment of human needs while maintaining the quality of the natural environment indefinitely. Significant highlights from China include:
