Alcoa Presents Update on China Operations to Investors.

In addition, Alcoa announced this week plans to open two more offices in Shanghai Shanghai (shăng`hī`, shäng`hī`), city (1994 est. pop. 12,980,000), in, but independent of, Jiangsu prov., E China, on the Huangpu (Whangpoo) River where it flows into the Chang (Yangtze) estuary.  by 2007 to support rapidly growing commercial aviation and railway/rail car production and sub-assembly in that market.
