Alcoa Inc.'s specialty chemical plant at Bauxite is being sold to Rhone Capital LLC.
* Alco Inc.'s specialty chemical plant at Bauxite is being
sold to Rhone Capital LLC. The plant is part of a deal in which Alcoa is
selling its 11-facility Alcoa Specialty Chemicals division, which had
revenue of $360 million in 2002 and employs 811 people. Terms of the
deal were not disclosed. There was no mention if jobs would be
eliminated or gained.
